Freedom fighter Lalita Tagget is no more

Lalita G from Chamarajanagar district who participated in the freedom struggle. Taggett died in the morning.

Lalita Tagget, a freedom fighter from Chamarajanagar, who actively participated in the freedom struggle and was imprisoned, has passed away due to old age.

Lalitha Taggett's funeral will be held in Chamarajanagar, family members said. Lalitha Taggett celebrated her 91st birthday last 5th.

Lalita Taggett was inspired by the independence slogans at the age of 14 and joined the movement. Family members were strongly opposed to Lalita Taggett's struggle. Although Lalita Taggett's mother was huddled in the house, Taggett came out from the roof of the house and participated in the protest.
